What is IEEE?
IEEE is a nonprofit organization, created in 1963, that happens to be a world leader in the advancement of technology. It features over 350,000 members in 150 different countries worldwide, and over 1,430 student branches all over the world. For a deeper look into IEEE, click HERE.

Why should you consider joining?
There are a plethora of reasons why one should consider joining IEEE. An IEEE membership provides academic, professional, financial, and social benefits. Some reasons include (but not limited to) access to articles, papers, conferences, academic resources, mentors, career assistance/advice, scholarships, and much, much more. This year, our student section started a Women in Engineering Affinity Group at UCF. WIE-UCF has been active in creating camaraderie between the female engineering students. They have since merged with the Women in EECS@UCF club to have speakers, socials, and even a mentorship program. Click HERE to see all of the activities and their brand new website!
