Chair - Vinit Todi
My name is Vinit Todi and I am currently Chair of the IEEE UCF Student Chapter. I am a doctoral student of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Central Florida. My areas of research interests are Electronic Materials, Process Integration and Device Characterization, Nano- and Bio Sensors, and Analog electronics. I am also currently Vice President of the IEEE-USA PACE Committee of the Orlando Section and Vice Chair for AVS (American Vacuum Society) UCF Student Chapter.

Vice Chair - Josey Nieto
Josey Nieto is currently the Vice Chair of the IEEE UCF Student Chapter. An undergraduate student in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, she is majoring in Electrical Engineering with aspirations of power generation. She is a present member of the Progress Energy Leadership Institute, with other activities including SWE and WIE. In the summer of 2009 she will be interning at the Exelon Corporation in Chicago, IL.

Treasurer - Blerina Aliaj
My name is Blerina Aliaj and I am currently the VP for Campus Activities and treasurer for IEEE UCF branch. I am a first year graduate student in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Central Florida concentrating in the Microelectronics Track. My research interests lie in Microelectronic Device Modeling and Protection against ESD stress.

Secretary - Amber Scheurer
I am a second year student at UCF and is majoring in Electrical Engineering. Currently, I am an undergraduate research assistant in the Nanophotonic Device Group in the College of Optics and Photonics. I am also an active member of the Society of Women Engineers.

I am a fifth year Ph.D. student in Computer Science. I was granted Candidacy status in Summer 2007. My advisor is Dr. Ronald D. Dutton. I am currently working on my dissertation on the Parameterized Complexity of Alliances and Secure Sets.

Webmaster - Aniket Vartak
Aniket Vartak is a PhD student at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in UCF. He has been a graduate research assistant at the ACTIVE lab since 2006. He has also been a member of IEEE EMBS (Engineering in Medicine Na Biology Society) since 2006. Currently, Aniket is working on developing machine learning, pattern recognition algorithms that are used to extract features and classify data from various biomedical sensors such as ECG, EEG, Eye-Tracking, Skin Conductance Response etc.

Branch Counselor - Dr. Kalpathy Sundaram
Dr. Kalpathy B. Sundaram is currently a Professor at the University of Central Florida College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He serves as Counselor for the IEEE UCF Student Branch. Dr. Sundaram received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, India. His research interests include thin films and microelectronics device processing, optoelectronic materials and devices, chemical mechanical polishing, micromachining, electrochemical etching of silicon and Power MOSFET fabrication and testing.
